Discover Keelboat Sailing Experience
Update 8/3/24: Due to the extreme heat forecast over the weekend, RGYC has cancelled the Discover Keelboat Sailing Experiences. People with existing bookings have been contacted directly.
Ever wanted to try sailing? Here’s a great opportunity to get out on Corio Bay and get a taste of what is involved! Royal Geelong Yacht Club will offer its Learn to Sail Keelboat course at the Wooden Boat Festival Geelong.
Each participant will receive a 3 hour experience from start to finish and learn the basics of sailing during this time. These basics can then be built on in the full RGYC course.
Program Dates: Saturday 9th March - 1:00pm - 4:00pm / Sunday 10th March - 9:00am - 12:00pm or 1:00pm - 4:00pm.
Boat: RS21 (Keelboat) - 4 people per boat
Age: 16 - 85 Years Old
Meeting Point: Soos' bar out the front of the RGYC clubhouse.
Cost: $130 per person
